I'm officially and unofficially, Mrs Edwards.

Que?

My name is Nadia. In real life, I still go about my business using my maiden name because I chose not to adopt my husband's family name.

However, as a term of endearment, we do use that moniker unofficially from time to time.

So what else do you need to know about me and us?

The hubby and I got married on 6th June 2013 after only being together for 9 months. Yes, we're crazy.

We both love our food and we love travelling - although we often plan our travels around what we want to eat! We have a little menagerie in the form of 4 vastly different felines, a koi pond and a tank of fancy goldfish. We're also trying to establish a little garden out the back of our home. When we have time, we like going out fishing by the beach... although I have more of a knack for feeding the fish rather than catching them! 

Personally, I used to be a hardcore salsa/bachata/zouk dancer. By hardcore, I mean dancing nearly every day for 3 hours, at least. I'm trying to get back into it after a whirlwind year of planning, getting married and settling in... but it's been a challenge, to say the least!

I love to write and I used to have another blog - one which I maintained for well over 11 years. Looking back, I realised how much I've changed... and how cringeworthy some of my old posts were! So I thought it was time for a change. I will be adding some of my meatier/juicier posts to this blog... eventually! :)
