Bucket List

I've decided to publish our bucket list. While we're far away from achieving everything on it, I think it will be nice to slowly see them get crossed off. Plus, I'm sure I'll generate some lovely blog entries each time I cross them off... hehe! 

Travel Bucket-List

Japan

For the hubby's 30th, we will (god willing) be travelling to Japan for Cherry Blossom season. There's so much to see and do, I really don't know if we'll have to time to see it all!! But boy, will we have fun trying to get through the list:

• Cherry blossoms!! 
• Miyako Odori in Gion, Kyoto
• Kikunoi 
• Miyajima Island
• Nara Park (to see all the deer!!!)
• Ghibli Museum
• Mt Fuji 
• Universal Studios, Osaka

Japan... again!

We haven't decided the full itinerary yet. We were just bummed we couldn't fit Hokkaido into our first trip. So fingers crossed, we'll get to see more of Northern Japan... and maybe revisit some old favourites!

• Hokkaido
• Sapporo
• Jiro's Sushi (hopefully we'll be able to afford it by then!)

Ubud

To be honest, I'm not super excited about the prospect of Bali. Namely because of all the horror stories of drunken boganism. That said, the reason I want to visit... is so that I can stay at Bambu Indah Eco Resort. In particular, I want to stay in Udang house.

Europe

I am such a noob when it comes to Europe. I'm sure there's at least a thousand times more things to see than I can think of in my head. But off the top of my head:

• Paris - so that I can eat croissant and evil French butter. 
• Venice
• London
• Jersey in the Channel Islands so that I can visit the Durrell Zoo and glamp!
• Rome
• Seville
• Madrid
• Oia

North America

I was fortunate to visit New York when I was 14. To be honest though, it was a family trip and I don't think I appreciated it as much as I should have. The hubby is enamoured with Canada as well, so a trip over is definitely on the cards.

• Alaska (Hubby's choice, not mine... I'd probably freeze my toes off)
• San Diego
• Hawaii
• The Rockies
• Dallas, Texas - for the State Fair!
